Joshua H. Yang, MD, joined the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Endocrinology and Diabetes Center in 2006. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology.
Dr. Yang graduated cum laude from Wheaton College in Illinois and earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. He completed his pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA in Los Angeles. As a fellow, he was named the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society Serono Clinical Scholar for his research investigating the effects of intrauterine growth restriction on cancer risk.
Dr. Yang has completed extensive research on topics including growth hormone deficiency, precocious puberty and Type 1 diabetes, and has been featured in many industry publications. He is active in diabetes outreach activities and is a member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society, the Endocrine Society and the American Diabetes Association. In 2014, Dr. Yang was named chief of the division of endocrinology and diabetes at Arnold Palmer Hospital.
