Joshi George MBBS, FRCS, MD, FEBNS, FISS

Mr George did his medical schooling in India and then trained in Trauma in Belfast. He subsequently did research on Spinal Cord Injury and was awarded a MD from the University of London for this work. His neurosurgical training was in the West Midlands. He subsequently worked in North America and was awarded a fellowship in Spine Surgery from the University of Toronto. He has also been awarded the European Diploma in Neurosurgery.

He joined Salford Royal as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in 2012. He has an interest in academic Neurosurgery and teaches at Manchester University in addition to regularly publishing in peer reviewed journals and presenting at international conferences. He has served on the national selection committee for neurosurgery. Currently, he is the Clinical Governance Lead for Neurosurgery.
