Course Description:
This study day provides a comprehensive overview of current status of palliative radiotherapy in modern oncology with focus on clinical and ethical aspects of palliative radiotherapy, integration with enhanced supportive care, evidence based practice and examples how to run a successful palliative and support care services. Topics also include role of palliative radiotherapy in postoperative settings, in combination with new systemic therapies and in elderly and frail patients.
