Joseph Ouzounian, MD is a Professor at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and Chief of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is also Vice-Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Ouzounian received his MD degree from USC and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and his fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at USC. Dr. Ouzounian is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. At the University he is actively involved in research, teaching, and clinical practice. He has published extensively in scholarly medical journals and textbooks on topics in high-risk obstetrics and perinatal medicine.
As part of Keck Medicine of USC and the USC Perinatal Group, Dr. Ouzounian provides patients prenatal diagnosis, first trimester and second-trimester genetic screening, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), obstetric ultrasound, and consultative management of high-risk pregnancies. He is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.
