John Paul Vavalle MD, MHS, FACC

John P. Vavalle, MD, MHS, FACC is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Director of Structural Heart Disease at the UNC Medical Center. He serves as the Program Director for the Structural Heart Disease Fellowship and Assistant Program Director for the Interventional and General Cardiology Fellowships. His main area of clinical interest is in percutaneous coronary and valvular interevntions. Dr. Vavalle is actively involved in a number of clinical research trials in TAVR and TMVR and leads a clinical research group that evaluates national trends and outcomes of percutaneous valvular interventions.
