John Paul Ketz MD

Dr. John P. Ketz has joined URMC Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics. He specializes in lower extremity trauma and adult foot and ankle disorders. His special expertise includes ankle arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, arthritic conditions, and periarticular fracture care.

Dr. Ketz has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Following his residency, Dr. Ketz completed a fellowship in lower extremity trauma and foot and ankle surgery at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute.

Dr. Ketz is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He has authored several papers and his research interests include foot and ankle biomechanics, post-traumatic foot and ankle reconstruction and periarticular fractures.
