John is Chair of British Society of Haematology Paediatric Haematology committee, national lead for pediatric ITP, national lead for IVIg in hematology and national lead for pediatric hematology training.

He is the local lead for hemophilia, hemoglobinopathy and non-malignant hematology, and for early phase clinical trials. He is also the medical advisor for the ITP Support Association.
