Johan Nilvebrant received his PhD in 2012 at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He was a postdoc with Sachdev Sidhu at the University of Toronto where he worked on new single-domain antibody library designs and ligand-mimicking antibodies. His current research focuses on protein- and antibody engineering using combinatorial libraries displayed on phage or cells to develop novel binding proteins for basic research, diagnostics, and therapeutics.
