Joe has been with Novartis for the last 14 years starting out his career as a medicinal chemist before moving into strategic sourcing. Within procurement, he has held multiple roles across several spend categories spanning both Direct and Indirect materials including laboratory supplies & equipment, construction & facilities, IT, technical development, and active pharmaceutical ingredients & excipients. Today Joe's focus is on driving value for the Discovery and PreClinical research organization by establishing strategic performance based partnerships and leveraging digital solutions like Online Research & Development Marketplaces.
