Jody Ellen Steinauer MD, MAS

Dr. Jody Steinauer, MD, MAS is a Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences based at San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH.) She is the Co-Director of the Fellowship in Family Planning, Director of Ob-gyn Clinical Research at SFGH, Research Director of the Kenneth J. Ryan Residency Training Program in Family Planning, and Director of Reproductive Health Education and Practice. After medical school and residency at UCSF, she completed fellowships in Clinical Research and Family Planning in the departments of Medicine and Ob-gyn, respectively, during which she completed a Master’s Degree in clinical research in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
