Jens Christoph Turp DDS, MSc, MA

Jens Turp studied dentistry in Freiburg im Breisgau and was promoted to Dr. Ing. By his "Surveys on Dental Health in Togo, West Africa". med. dent. PhD. A multi-year employment at the University of Michigan set the course of his professional activity as a renowned specialist in jaw pain. The habilitation at the University of Freiburg was followed by a Master of Science in complementary health sciences and a Master of Arts in medical ethics.

As founder of the working group for oral and facial pain in the German Pain Society, longtime spokesman for the Department of Dentistry in the German Network Evidence-based Medicine, Author of over 600 publications and popular speakers, he is dedicated to honest patient education and the use of evidence-based methods in dentistry (and beyond). Less arbitrariness, more science in patient treatment? a topic that concerns everyone.
