Jens Borglum Neimann MD, PhD

Jens Børglum, MD, PhD is an associate professor and consultant anaesthetist currently working at the Department of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care Medicine, Copenhagen University Hospital Bispebjerg in Denmark. Jens Børglum defended his PhD on "Differential expression of receptors and enzymes of importance for the development and metabolism of adipose cells" in 1997 at Aarhus University, Denmark. He began to work within the field of anaesthesiological ultrasound in 2005 and has published peer reviewed papers about ultrasound-guided nerve blocks regarding both upper extremity and lower extremity as well as truncal nerve blocks. He has very extensive experience as invited speaker and workshop supervisor of ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia around the world.
