Dr. Jennifer Groner received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1989. She received her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. She committed to doing volunteer work in New Mexico teaching English and Social Studies at St. Katherine’s Native American Indian School for a year. Dr. Groner grew up in Jefferson City, MO and it only seemed fitting that she would go on to completed her family Medicine residency from the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO on June 30, 2009.

July 2009, she joined the medical staff at Truman Medical Center Lakewood as junior faculty and surgical obstetrical fellow within the Department of Community and Family Medicine of which she graduated from June 2010. Dr. Groner has a faculty appointment with the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine as Assistant Professor. Dr. Groner enjoys practicing the full spectrum of family medicine and being involved in the teaching of medical students and residents within the Family Medicine residency program.
