Jenica O'Malley, DO FAAP is excited to be participating as a presenter at her first PCMH conference! She is a dedicated general academic pediatrician currently living and practicing in Syracuse, New York. She completed medical school in 2012, graduating from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her residency in Pediatrics was completed in her hometown at SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2015.
She Shortly after finishing residency she spent 1 year working in a more rural part of New York State, but the allure of academia overcame her and she returned to SUNY Upstate in 2016 where she is currently an assistant professor of pediatrics. Academic interests include mental and behavioral health, quality improvement, and addressing social determinants of health in the medical home. When not busy with medical practice, Dr. O'Malley is kept busy by her two energetic young children.
