Jeanne (coltrane) Mumford BS, MT(ASCP)

Jeanne is currently the pathology supervisor over point of care testing at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Technology in 2000 and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Health. Over the last 15 years, she has worked in various roles in laboratory medicine.

Her experience includes 4 years as the Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians and 11 years as a bench tech in an immunology lab and in transfusion medicine in city hospital laboratories. Jeanne has an extensive understanding of laboratory regulations and offers years of practical experience in quality assurance projects and laboratory inspection preparedness and planning.
