Biography :

Jayaraj Rajagopal, MD is a Professor at Harvard Medical School with appointments at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and the Center for Regenerative Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He performed his residency in Internal Medicine and Chief Residency at Mass General followed by a Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship and is now the Director of the Stanbury Physician-Scientist Pathway for basic investigation. He wrote his thesis with Jack Szostak, PhD concerning self-splicing RNA catalysis, and then completing a postdoctoral fellowship with Doug Melton, PhD where he worked on iPS cell differentiation and lung organogenesis.
