Javed (jay) Nasir MD

Dr. Javed Nasir is a cardiologist who specializes in electrophysiology, the study of the heart's electrical activity. He cares for patients with arrhythmias (heart rhythm problems) in both the clinic and the hospital. Among other treatments, he performs catheter ablation (in which a flexible tube called a catheter is advanced from a small vessel in the leg to destroy the tissue in the heart causing an arrhythmia), pacemaker implantation, implantable cardioverter defibrillator placement, lead extraction (removing a wire from a pacemaker or implanted defibrillator because of a problem such as infection), subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillators and leadless pacemakers (small devices implanted directly into a heart chamber to treat certain conditions).
