Dr. Jason Gotlib is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology at the Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Cancer Institute in California. Dr. Gotlib’s medical school, internal medicine, and hematology/oncology fellowship training were undertaken at Stanford, where he also earned a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology. He is the director of the Stanford Hematology Fellowship Training Program and Stanford’s MPN Center. Dr. Gotlib's research focus is Phase I to III clinical trial evaluation of novel therapies for MPNs.

Dr. Gotlib is a recipient of the National Institutes of Health K23 Career Development Award, and his research has been published in numerous journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Blood. He is currently a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Guidelines Committee for Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia and the International Working Group for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Research and Treatment (IWG-MRT).
