Jason is currently a Principal Scientist in the Oncology Research Therapeutic Area at Amgen, Inc and located in the South San Francisco office. He earned a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Michigan in 1998. He then attended Stanford University where he completed graduate work focused on the role of T cells in autoimmunity in the laboratory of Dr. Larry Steinman.
After graduating, he continued to work in the field of autoimmunity, pursuing postdoctoral work at the University of California, San Francisco in the laboratory of Dr. Mark Anderson. After UCSF, Jason joined the Translational Immunology department at Genentech in 2009 and worked on inflammation and autoimmune disease projects for five years. Jason joined Amgen in 2015 and established a preclinical science group in San Francisco that focuses on oncology and inflammation.
