Jan Casselman MD, PhD

Dr. Jan Casselman is a world-leading authority in imaging for Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery and has been a major innovator in the field of advanced CT and MRI imaging of the head and neck. He has joined Dalhousie University to help utilize the latest MRI scanners.

Dr. Casselman is Co-Organiser of the highly acclaimed European Erasmus Head & Neck Course. He undertook fellowships in MR and Head & Neck radiology at UCLA and at the University of Florida, Gainesville.

Professor Casselman is also Section Editor of Neuroradiology and Associate Editor of Head & Neck Imaging for Radiology. He has authored and/or co-authored over 240 scientific publications and has given over 1000 scientific presentations in 48 countries.
