James E. Bertz DDS, MD, FACS

Dr. Bertz is in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has served as President of Medical Staff of two of the hospitals in the HonorHealth system. Earlier, he was Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he was Dean for Students and then as Assistant Vice Chancellor in UT System in Austin, Texas. He then returned to UT Houston where he was Dean for Clinical Affairs and was the Interim Director of the Speech and Hearing area center in Houston. He has served as President of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
