James C. Fleming MD, FACS

Dr. James C. Fleming, MD, is the Lewis Professor of Ophthalmology and chair of the Hamilton Eye Institute (HEI) at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is the division head of the oculoplastic department and director of the HEI Orbit Center. He is a former president of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology (TNAO), and the Tennessee Medical Association. He is also on the council of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and chair of the American Medical Association’s southeast delegation. Dr. Fleming is currently a member of the TNAO’s Board of Directors.
