Dr. Jaelene M. Mannerfeldt is a Director in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family Medicine at the University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services. She graduated from medical school at the University of Calgary and also completed her Family Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology residencies in Calgary. From 1998 to 1999 she spent a year studying Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at The Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto. Jaelene is a passionate physician who practices in Calgary and High River as a Generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologist including Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.

She teaches at the Cummings School of Medicine, the University of Calgary in the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education programs. She has won multiple teaching awards including the Carl Nimrod award for teaching excellence by APOG. This passion has taken her from Calgary to countries as diverse as Zimbabwe, Kenya, Iraq, and Guyana teaching the ALARM International Program as well as Lao and Uganda with the University of Calgary. With Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors without Borders, she worked in Peshawar, Pakistan.
