Jae Song, MD, MS is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed her Diagnostic Radiology training at Yale University followed by a Neuroradiology Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Song is committed to providing excellent clinical care and teaching radiology residents and fellows.

Her main area of research is in investigating the spectrum of vascular diseases in the central nervous system using advanced MR imaging techniques to visualize intracranial vessel walls in high resolution. Her aims are to better understand disease pathology that starts in the vessel walls, identify predictive characteristics that allow for early detection and increased diagnostic accuracy of intracranial vasculopathy and assess the utility of imaging to monitor therapy and ultimately improve clinical outcomes. She was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to Freiburg, Germany, was the recipient of an NIH NRSA award and has served as the Andlinger Fellow in Vienna, Austria.
