Ian Del Conde Pozzi MD, FACC, FSVM

Ian del Conde M.D., FACC, FSVM, is a cardiologist and vascular medicine specialist at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. He specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases of the heart and blood vessels. In addition to being a cardiologist, he is specially trained in treating diseases that affect the arterial, venous, and lymphatic systems, such as peripheral artery disease, carotid, and renal artery disease, resistant hypertension, venous thromboembolic disease, venous insufficiency, less common vascular diseases, such as fibromuscular dysplasia and vasculitis. He is an Accredited Hypertension Specialist and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation, signifying the highest standards for the interpretation and assessment of vascular ultrasound studies.

Dr. del Conde's clinical research focuses on developing new diagnostic tools and therapies to advance the care of patients with cardiovascular disease. He is the co-editor of a book on vascular diseases and has authored numerous articles and book chapters that have been published in peer-reviewed periodicals. He has also been an invited speaker to numerous national and international medical meetings. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
