Course Description:
This course presents practitioners with the latest, evidence-based guidelines for the appropriate management of critical limb ischemia.

Learning Objectives:
• Distinguish acute vs. chronic CLI and potential terminology or keywords associated with lower limb CLI.
• Recognize risk factors associated with CLI.
• Describe the evidence supporting the standardization of treatment options for CLI based on current evidence-based practices.
• Use evidence-based protocols and guidelines including acute and chronic CLI protocols, and identify the timing for protocol implementation based on evidence-based practices in the emergency department and acute care setting.
• Demonstrate current clinical criteria for the identification of CLI patients.
• Distinguish current clinical diagnostic exams and results to help facilitate the diagnosis of acute or chronic CLI.
