Iain Kirkpatrick MD, FRCP(C)

Dr. Iain Kirkpatrick completed his medical degree and residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Manitoba. He completed a fellowship in abdominal radiology at Stanford University, where he also received training in cardiovascular CT/MR. After returning to UM, he remained on staff at Stanford as an adjunct clinical instructor until 2012. Dr. Kirkpatrick’s clinical practice consists of both abdominal and cardiovascular radiology. In Manitoba, Dr. Kirkpatrick developed the provincial cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, prostate MRI, and CT colonography clinical programs. He has served as the university section head of abdominal radiology since 2015 and is the director of computed tomography, radiography, and interventional radiology at St-Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
