The CAR 2022 Scientific Planning Committee has developed a dynamic program focused on the radiologist as a clinician and leader in patient-centered care. This year, the program features a particular emphasis on content that is relevant to community radiologists, balanced with impactful sessions geared for sub-specialists and those in academic practice environments.

CAR 2022 offers a robust mix of didactic lectures, interactive question and answer sessions, and provides a variety of ways to enhance every participant’s learning experience. The program will bring together outstanding speakers from across North American, including plenary lectures from Dr. Frank Miller (Northwestern), Dr. Aaron Sodickson (Harvard), Dr. David Lynch (National Jewish Health), Dr. Mary-Louise Greer (SickKids), and Dr. Robert Shih (AIRP/Walter Reed).

This year, the CAR Affiliates have participated in the development of sessions, resulting in a scientific and educational program highlighting cardio-thoracic radiology, abdominal radiology, emergency and trauma radiology, and pediatric radiology. The program also features an interactive workshop on structured reporting, bringing together expert from various sub-specialties to provide practical guidance to radiologists seeking to improve their familiarity with -RADS reporting systems. Building on the success of last year’s dedicated Trainee Day, CAR 2022 includes a full day of sessions and lectures geared specifically to the needs of radiology residents and fellows. Renowned for its scientific and educational content, CAR 2022 is the premier Canadian radiology event of the year.
