Dr. Han Naung Tun is an American physician-researcher specializing in internal medicine and cardiology. After earning his MBBS in 2013, he completed postgraduate training in medicine and cardiology by 2016. Early in his career, he worked with Médecins Sans Frontiers and USAID’s PEPFAR program infectious disease and tropical medicine. He later trained in advanced cardiology at the University of Zurich and Zurich Heart House in Switzerland.
He is recognized for his extensive work in heart failure, cardiovascular imaging, and preventive cardiology. A fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology, he also earned an MPH from the University of Vermont in 2023. Dr. Tun has authored over 70 publications and mentors postgraduate and doctoral students.
