Recent trials discussing antidiabetic medications have armed healthcare professionals with additional recommendations regarding the approach to treating cardiovascular disease in patients with diabetes mellitus. This program provides an excellent review of the pathophysiology, cardiovascular complications, evidence from the latest clinical trials, and treatment recommendations to reduce cardiovascular complications in patients with diabetes mellitus.
