Guadalupe Miro Corrales had Licensed in Veterinary Medicine in 1982, and PhD in Veterinary Medicine in 1990 at the Complutense University of Madrid. Diploma from the European School of Veterinary Parasitologists. Professor of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases of the Department of Animal Health of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Madrid. Responsible for the Consultation of Infectious and Parasitic Pathology of the Clinical Veterinary Hospital of Madrid. Founding member and current President of the LEISHVET group of experts in canine leishmaniasis. Spanish representative in ESCCAP (European Scientific Council Companion Animal Parasites) and President of the Spanish delegation (ESCCAP Spain). Author of numerous publications and scientific monographs related to parasitic diseases and infectious diseases of small animals.
