Dr. Graziano Clerici is currently a scientific director at aDoc and director of the European Centre for Medicine and Research and the Permanent School of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology – PSUOG, both based in Perugia.
He teaches at the School of Specialization of the University of Perugia and international universities and scientific societies. Graduating “cum laude” from the University of Perugia in 1992, he discussed a thesis on “Early prenatal diagnosis of genetic diseases: methods compared and perspectives”. All the scientific activity of Dr. Graziano Clerici has focused on the prenatal diagnosis of congenital malformations, the evaluation of fetal conditions through the study of hemodynamic changes, and invasive procedures for fetal diagnosis and therapy in utero.
Dr. Clerici specialized with honors in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Specialization School of the University of Perugia in 1996, discussing the thesis “Fetal cerebral hemodynamics”. He subsequently won two scholarships from the CNR (National Research Council) on topics related to prenatal diagnosis (1995 and 1997) and a prize from the “Bruno Salvadori” Institution – SIGO (Italian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics) on: “Prevention of Neurological Damage in the Newborn” (1998).
