Gordon H. Worley is an assistant clinical professor in the family nurse practitioner and physician assistant programs at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. He has more than 30 years’ experience as an emergency department nurse practitioner, emergency nurse, flight nurse, and health care educator. Prior to joining the faculty at the School of Nursing, he served as the advanced practice clinician director for the emergency department at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson, California. Gordon maintains a part-time clinical practice in the emergency department and urgent care.

Gordon earned an Associate Degree from American River College in Sacramento followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from CSU Dominguez Hills in Carson, California, and a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California. He received postgraduate training in emergency medicine through the American College of Emergency Physicians Emergency Medicine Academy.
