42nd Annual Educational Conference of California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP) is organized by California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP) and will be held from Mar 14 - 17, 2019 at Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, San Diego, California, United States of America.

The conference offers nurse practitioners (as well as physician assistants, nurse midwives, nurse anesthetists, and students) an exciting opportunity to learn from some of the most influential figures in the industry.

CANP’s mission is to advocate on behalf of the more than 21,000 nurse practitioners throughout California. We have been a constant presence at the State Capitol, leading the charge to pass bills that enhance your authority and highlight the critical role you play in the health care arena. We are your staunchest supporters … your greatest allies … your partner in the future of the state’s health care delivery system.

Our objectives for the CANP Conference are to:
• Provide current clinical, pharmacologic, diagnostic, and management knowledge and skills in patient care across the lifespan
• Present a forum for the exchange of ideas and clinical experiences with colleagues involved in the delivery of patient care
• Discuss professional, educational, and financial issues affecting the role of the advanced practice nurse as they relate to primary and acute care practice specialists
• Offer information on emerging trends in health care, practice management, and political issues to assist advanced practice nurses in positioning their practices for the future of health care
• Challenge participants to consider the intricacies of an interdisciplinary, highly complex health care system as it affects future roles and practice opportunities
