Gary Joseph Faerber MD, FACS

Dr. Gary Faerber received his MD from Temple University in Philadelphia and then completed his residency in urology at the University of Michigan in 1989. He remained on faculty at Michigan and rose to the academic rank of Professor and was the Edward J. McGuire Research Professor. In 2016, he joined the faculty as Professor of Urology in the Department of Surgery at the University of Utah. He is delighted to join the Urology team here at Duke. His main area of clinical interest is in both the surgical and medical management of kidney stone disease. He has authored over 120 articles and has been honored by being named to the University of Michigan League of Medical Educators and to the University of Utah School of Medicine Academy of Health Science Educators.
