Gabriel Rahmi MD. PhD

Dr. Gabriel Rahmi is a doctor specializing in hepatogastroenterology and interventional endoscopy at the Georges Pompidou European Hospital. It is attached to the University Paris Descartes. He is a trainer for interventional endoscopy procedures in national training centres and international masterclasses (IRCAD Strasbourg and Taiwan). Member of the French Society of Digestive Endoscopy and the French Society of Gastroenterology, he is a reviewer of specialized journals. After working at Kobe University Hospital, Japan, in collaboration with Dr. Takashi Toyonaga (management of superficial digestive tumours and ESD), he created a course for Interventional endoscopy for resection procedures (EMR and ESD) at the Laboratory of Biosurgical Sciences in Paris. Dr. Gabriel Rahmi is doing clinical research in the field of endoscopy (EMR, ESD, POEM, ERCP, EUS, RFA, Ovesco, pCLE) and also experimental research in the field of regenerative medicine (cell therapy, polymers and gels).
