Franz Wolfgang Amann MD

Dr. Franz Wolfgang Amann studied human medicine at the universities of Innsbruck and Vienna. He received his doctorate in medicine from the University of Innsbruck in 1s/2. He then worked as an assistant doctor at the Pathological Institute of the Gimli City Hospital in Zurich and at the Medical Clinic of the Aarau Cantonal Hospital.

In 1979 Prof. Dr. Amann works as a guest assistant at Cornell University in New York. Prof, Amann later performed his scientific and medical assistance in the Department of Cardiology (Department of Internal Medicine of the Cantonal Hospital Basel) until he took over the position of a senior physician in the Department of Internal Medicine in 1981, from 1983 to 1984 he was a "Fellow in Cardiology at Harvard School of Public Health" in Boston [USA). from 1984 to 1991 Prof, Amann worked as a senior physician at the Department of Internal Medicine at the Cantonal Hospital Basel and at the Department of arduous Cardiology at the Medical Clinic of the University Hospital Zurich.
