Francesco Maisano MD

Francesco Maisano, MD was appointed as the Head of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Zurich University Hospital and a full professor of cardiac surgery at the University of Zurich in 2014. He is recognized as an expert for minimally invasive valve surgery and widely considered as a representative of a new generation of cardiovascular surgeons. Professor Maisano has a wealth of experience in transcatheter valve treatments and has been closely involved in the introduction of several new techniques and technologies into clinical practice in valvular heart disease
