Dr. Florian Scotte heads the interdisciplinary department for the organization of patient pathways (DIOPP) at Gustave Roussy, created in March 2020.

Dr. Scotte is a medical oncologist and holds a doctorate of science in medical ethics. A national and international leader in supportive care, he is vice-president of the Francophone Association for Supportive Oncological Care (AFSOS), member of the steering committee of the Multinational Association for Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC), and of the scientific committee of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).

Before joining Gustave Roussy, Dr. Florian Scotte opened and developed the chemotherapy day hospital at the Georges Pompidou European Hospital (AP-HP) in 2000, then created the first inpatient care unit there. oncological support.

In 2017, he joined the Foch Hospital in Suresnes where he headed the medical oncology and support care department. It will make it possible to obtain two ESMO and MASCC labels for the service and the Foch hospital. He will develop the supportive care day hospital there as well as a shared hospitalization unit for medical oncology and supportive care.

Florian Scotte has conducted several research programs and is the author of numerous publications, in particular on cooling gloves to limit the toxicity of certain chemotherapies on the skin and nails, or on the organization of the cancer treatment circuit in day hospitalization. He is also at the origin of the support care barometer, which takes stock in France of the development of these organizations in health establishments.
