Ethan Andrew Smith MD

Dr. Smith completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at University of Michigan Health System followed by a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. After spending six years as an attending pediatric radiologist at CS Mott Children’s Hospital – University of Michigan, Dr. Smith returned to Cincinnati in 2017 as the director of the Thoraco-abdominal Section in the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Department of Radiology. Dr. Smith is active in multiple national radiology organizations, including the Society for Pediatric Radiology, American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America. He is also a member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and served as a central imaging reviewer for ongoing clinical research trials through COG. Dr. Smith’s research interests include body MRI, pediatric oncologic imaging, and quality and safety in radiology.
