General radiologists, residents, and other subspecialists who want to review other areas of radiology may be interested in taking these online courses. Most courses include an audio-visual presentation, as well as a corresponding transcript. Essentials courses are free to members.

• Describe the clinical and imaging findings of appendicitis in children.
• Describe the value of measurements of the appendix in making a diagnosis of appendicitis.

• Describe the imaging protocols for suspected child abuse.
• Explain the forensic significance of common inflicted childhood injuries.
• Describe the basic embryologic development of the kidney and how abnormalities of development lead to common congenital urinary tract abnormalities.
• Discuss different imaging modalities used for the work-up of congenital urinary tract malformations and recommend the appropriate "next step" for imaging of common conditions.
