Erik Stratman MD is a dermatologist, Director of the Division of Education for Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and the Associate Dean for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Marshfield Campus. Dr. Stratman received his undergraduate mechanical engineering and medical degrees from the University of Missouri Columbia.

He completed residency training in dermatology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His primary interests are dermatology education and adult learning theory. He is a creator of the Dermatology Integrative Competency Curriculum for resident education, a web-based, problem-based learning curriculum. In 2004, his teaching and evaluation innovations led to his induction as a Fellow in the Teaching Academy at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Dr. Stratman currently serves as the Chairman of the Council on Education for the American Academy of Dermatology.
