Eric Francois MD, FIPP

Eric Francois, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, specializing in anesthesiology and pain management. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Francois worked for 13 years as a Consultant Anesthesiologist and Pain Specialist in the Saint-Elisabeth Hospital, Namur, Belgium, where he helped develop, and later led, one of the Belgian Centers of Pain Excellence. Dr. Francois is certified in interventional procedures by the World Institute of Pain.

He was originally certified as a pain specialist in 2006, after completing a Belgian inter-university training. Dr. Francois received his medical degree from the Catholic University of Louvain, Brussels, Belgium. He completed his training in anesthesiology at the Free University of Liege in conjunction with an internship at CHU de Liege (Liege University Hospital) and was accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education of the French Community of Belgium.
