Emily R. Bernabe PhD, BCBA

Dr. Bernabe is a Psychologist at Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children (AIDHC) specializing in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who completed her doctoral training in school psychology at Temple University. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, where she gained specialized training in behavioural treatments and interventions for children with complex neurodevelopmental disabilities. She went on to complete an autism-specific fellowship at AIDHC, where she gained specialized training in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and child development. Clinically, she provides behaviour therapy, diagnostic evaluations, and testing for children and families affected by ASD. Her research interests include dissemination of evidence-based ASD assessments and interventions within the community and care coordination for families affected by ASD.
