Emiliano Spezi PhD, FIPEM, CPhys, MInstP, CSci

Dr. Spezi is a Reader in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics. He graduated in Physics at the University of Bologna and then specialised in Medical Physics. He is a state registered Clinical Scientist with more than 15 years experience in Research and Development in the National Health Service. He obtained Ph.D. from University of Wales College of Medicine in 2003. He receive grants from National and International funding bodies and from the Industry.

His research interests are in the fields of: External Beam Radiotherapy; X-ray imaging; PET Imaging; SPECT Imaging; EPID dosimetry; Molecular Radiotherapy; Monte Carlo Simulation; Radiotherapy Treatment Planning; Radiotherapy Trials Quality Assurance.
