Dr. Ellen Daley, a Professor in Community and Family Health at the University of South Florida, College of Public Health has teaching and research interests in women's health, reproductive health, sexually transmitted infections (specifically Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection), adolescent health and health risk-taking behaviors.

These related interests began when Dr. Daley became involved with the Women's Health Movement (WHM) in the early 1970's, and continued through the organization of several women's health centers in New York, Michigan and Florida. A long-time activist and advocate of women's reproductive health rights and equality in research, Dr. Daley is the Co-Director the Center for Transdisciplinary Research in Women’s Health (CTR-WH) with Dr. Rita DeBate and with Associate Director, Dr. Cheryl Vamos. Dr. Daley also supervises a research and training program in conjunction with USF Health faculty from Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy, called The Women's Health Collaborative, which brings teams of graduate students from across disciplines to address health care issues among marginalized and uninsured women.

Dr. Daley is a Core Faculty Member of CRUSH, the Collaborative for Research in Understanding Sexual Health, along with Drs. Eric Buhi, Julie Baldwin, Stephanie Marhefka and Cheryl Vamos. In addition to her research interests, Dr. Daley teaches various graduate level courses in women's health, reproductive health population and community health, and directs an undergraduate course on women's health.
