Elham Ameen Yousef MBBS, MD, MSc, FHM, FACP

Elham Yousef, MD, is an Associate Staff in the Medicine Institute, Department of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Yousef earned her medical degree from Assiut University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt. She completed an Internal Medicine residency with special training in nephrology and Kidney transplant at both at Assiut university Hospital and Mansura Urology and Nephrology Center in Egypt. She earned her Masters in Clinical science and Internal Medicine from Assiut University Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Yousef completed a Family Medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center, Rush Copley Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. She is a recipient of multiple scholarships for outstanding scholastic achievement from College of Family Physicians of Canada, North American Primary Care Research Group, and The Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors. She is also recipient of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine award for recognition of demonstrated ability and commitment to education.
