Course Description:
Hospital Medicine 2018: Best Evidence in Practice symposium will provide cutting-edge information on the most relevant and common conditions seen in the inpatient setting allowing improvement of quality of medical care for hospitalized patients. We will discuss anticoagulation management for atrial arrhythmias and venous thrombosis, current management of severe infections, pain management strategies with both opioid and non-opioid alternatives, as well as updates in COPD, asthma and sleep apnea.
