Ehtesham Baig MSc, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Baig completed his undergraduate and graduate degree in Immunology prior to starting medical school at Queen’s University. He then completed his training in Anesthesiology at the University of Toronto in 2016. Subsequently, he completed training in Pain Medicine in 2018 as part of the inaugural class at the University of Toronto. Currently, he is pursuing an interventional cancer pain management fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City which is partly funded by the Detweiler Traveling Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is involved in curriculum development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels with a particular interest in the education of pain medicine trainees. His clinical area of interest is cancer and palliative pain management using both medical and interventional treatment modalities.
