Edwin C. Jesudason, MBBChir, MA, FRCS(Paed), MD, received medicine, surgery, and philosophy degrees from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, England. He is a fellow and previous Hunterian Professor of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a consultant pediatric surgeon at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, University of Liverpool, Liverpool, England.

Dr. Jesudason has been awarded the David Dunn Scholarship of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (undertaken at the University of California, San Francisco), the Clinician Scientist Fellowship by the United Kingdom Academy of Medical Sciences, and the Leadership Fellowship by The Health Foundation. Dr. Jesudason specializes in surgery for birth defects and pediatric tumors.
